Superscript and subscript characters for use in plain text when full markup is unavailable. Covers superscript digits 0–9, a full run of superscript Latin letters, and all subscript digits from the dedicated Unicode block (U+2070–U+208E). Also includes the Latin-1 superscripts ¹ ² ³ (U+00B9, U+00B2, U+00B3) and the degree sign (U+00B0). Useful for chemical formulae, footnote markers, ordinals, and mathematical notation in environments that do not support rich text.
